Making Treasure
We all love the idea of phat, phat loot, and Flight Rising is no different. There are two types of currency in Flight Rising. Treasure and gems. Treasure can be earned by playing games in the fairgrounds, selling items and dragons on the auction house, and opening chests found while gathering or playing in the coliseum. Gems are Flight Rising's "premium" currency and can be purchased in large amounts with real-world money. You can earn gems through regular play as well, but we'll touch on that in the Auction House and Marketplace sections.
Fairgrounds
The most straightforward way to make treasure when starting out is the Fairgrounds. There are currently only five games, but they can make you some quick treasure. Instead of going through each and describing them, go and play them!
*WARNING*
SHOCK SWITCH HAS A CLEAR EPILEPSY WARNING, AND HAS AN OPTION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GAME TO TURN OFF EFFECTS IF YOU ARE PRONE TO SEIZURES. PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN PLAYING SHOCK SWITCH!
The fairgrounds have a daily treasure cap of 75,000 (which you will find at the top right-hand side when you're playing games). This is called your lucky streak. Once you hit the cap, you cannot make treasure from fairground games until the next day.

Coliseum
The Coliseum (coli) is the most common way to make money. People use the coli for a variety of reasons, as it's a great place to stock up on food and materials, collect familiars, and earn treasure. Leveling your coli team can be a bit overwhelming at first, but don't give up. Check out this guide if you want to learn how to train your dragons, and feel free to contact any veteran members with any additional questions you may have. We will gladly help you out.
Making treasure in the coliseum is as easy as killing monsters. Once you kill them, you obtain loot. This loot goes right into your hoard. A lot of people take the things they don't need and sell them off right away. This can net you a decent amount of cash in a reasonable amount of time. This guide will tell you how to make money in the quickest way possible with the coli.

Auction House
Every once in a while you might find something rare (like a hard-to-get familiar or apparel item), that sells in the Auction House (AH) for more than the asking price of auto-selling. If you don't want to keep the item for yourself, you can list it in the AH for either gems or treasure, and wait for other players to buy it.
The categories in the AH are identical to the ones in your hoard, with the exception of the dragon tab, where you can buy/sell dragons. This is arguably the staple of the economy and how most users make their money.
You can also buy items for gems on the marketplace and put them up for sale on the auction house to make quick treasure that way. A lot of people like to buy scrolls for treasure. So if you're a person who likes to spend money on gems, flipping it for treasure is a viable option.

Marketplace
The marketplace is where all of these items are born! Except for the coli...but for the sake of being dramatic...
THE MARKETPLACE IS WHERE ALL OF THESE ITEMS ARE BORN!
~more confetti~
The marketplace is where most items appear at random. The marketplace has a chance to stock every five minutes, and completely resets every two hours.
The tabs in the marketplace are apparel, familiars, battle, specialty, skins and bundles (bundles currently exist only for gem store items).
Like we said in the AH portion of this guide, buying items for gems and then selling them for treasure on the AH is a great way to make money. Buying gem store items such as rare apparel, rare familiars, and scrolls can make you some serious cash, but you lose the gems in the process.
Buying from the marketplace is considerably cheaper than buying on the AH, so if you need to get something, your better option is to wait for the item to appear in the marketplace and buy it from there.
Alternatively, buying items and putting them on the auction house is a good, but not sufficient, way to make treasure.
